July 4 - Gold Coast boat builder, Riviera is looking for young men and women for both school based and full-time apprenticeship positions. Currently over 35 school based apprentices from 24 schools from Tweed in Northern NSW to South Brisbane are in the Riviera Apprenticeship Program. Mar 13 - Sailboarders Alisha Kawalla and James Levy, both of NSW, have been nominated to the Australian Youth Team to compete in the ISAF Youth World Sailing Championships to be conducted in Weymouth UK from July12 to 21. Jan 11 - Young Australians aged 16 - 23 can now apply to get on board the tall ship Young Endeavour for a sail training program in 2006. Setting sail for 11-days from Mackay, Cairns, Hamilton Island, Bundaberg, Brisbane, Sydney, Burnie and Hobart, berths are available from June – October 2006.
