Manroland Tornado Worlds – no wind – no racing

There was no wind, so therefore no racing at the Manroland Tornado World Championship on Lübeck Bay in Travemünde, Germany, but sponsor Manroland came to the party – and organised one for the competing crews!

Sailors also took time out to make any necessary repairs and took time out to chill out. Manroland offered crews and their guests a great VIP evening with a full buffet and free flowing beer all night. The photos from racing were on show, a live band was playing and everybody was having a terrific time.

The weather forecast for Wednesday local time is for light winds again; 4-7 knots in the morning and 6-9 knots for the afternoon, so it will be back to work no matter the size of the hangover!

Interviews, video and pictures are available at http://www.tornado-class.org/events/worlds.htm
